Spring Repotting Season

I mainly want to use this blog as a re-potting log so here it goes!  We've had a nice spring and some of the stuff in the greenhouse was repotted in February and a lot of my favorite outdoor plants are re-potted and placed into the greenhouse for protection. It's taken me 3 or 4 months to hit post on this draft but now here is the spring stuff in June!

Several pines in nursery pines had the bottom third of their root ball sawn off in the fall of 2014 but I didn't get many pictures the process (first photo) but I'm including some pics of the pines themselves so I remember.

Above pine got its roots worked pretty hard to fit into a smaller box.

Elderberry:

Maple:
Maple, this one got a hard chop and I don't think it's going to make it:

Weeping Larch:
Dawn Redwood.  I chopped this spring of 2014 and let the leader grow to long killing the taper at the top:

Azalea:
Juniper:
Maple:
Top died off.
